Mmmm black jelly beans. I remember as a kid I used to give the other kids all my colored jelly beans in exchange for their black ones.

i got news for you collie-- during Easter time, the fine fine folks at JustBornTM candy products release the black ones BY THE BAG. for $0.79. FOR THE WHOLE BAG.

My gram and I have the inside joke to give each other bags of just black ones, because I inherited my love of them from her, we think.
