Last night we took in the MonkeyPiece Theatre at the film archive.

besides the super raucous time created by the attendance of talkbox, furboajerboa, a super special visit from chris_moreno, who braved the wilds of New Jersey, and my faithful sidekick dollomite, those folks and the Onion sure know how to party!


The guest of honor, or course, being our new friend,
Zippy The Chimp

who showed us that, while it is important to be a snappy dresser, it is perfectly acceptable to push the town bully onto a giant pin cushion (Repeatedly!), if he is ruining your birthday party.

the worst was in the first "Zippy" short, when he was eating his breakfast of whatever that was, and jessie leaned near my ear and went, "ketchup."

possibly the most disgusting propect to ever cross my mind.
