location suggestions?

Hi kids.

dig it, I need a place to go tonight, most likely a coffee shop type thing, East side is best. I'm going go be working on my monologue for this big ass summer stock audition I have on Saturday, and I need some place to go that isn't my apartment that stays open later than 10:30, like the majority of the Starbucks in the city.

no fun in the cube

I have to make a bunch of calls to different organizations to tell them that we aren't going to consider their applications for funding. Sending a letter is one thing, but having to tell a person a definative "NO.", and then trying to thwart their attempts to get me [who has NO sway with the funds whatsoever] to change my mind about the application. I don't like it.

also, nobody here invites me to go to lunch with them. blatantly. the whole group will go together, and leave me here all alone. All I get is a call over the shoulder, "We'll be back in like an hour,". They don't even ask if I would like something. It's like, "HEY we know you're a temp, you're NOT in the cool kids club!" I KNOW i'm not in the club, guys. I just wish it wasn't so blatant.
