ADDENDUM: 5 year olds talking about the pope is funny. The class hampster died, and the class was asked to make a drawing of how they felt about the loss. While they were doodling with their giant pencils, I hear this:
Jade: you know, my mommy told me the Pope died, too.
Duncan: yeah, I KNEW that.
Olivia: I'm sad about the pope dying.
Jade: Yeah, he was a GOOD pope!
Duncan: Do you love the pope? [Duncan is Jewish]
Everyone at the work table: Yeah, of course I love him! [i think only 1 or 2 of the kids are catholic]
kids are amusing. too bad I hate them.
