Halloweenie
Oct. 21st, 2005 01:59 pmOkay. Halloween came up much faster than I had thought it would.
I had a costume all planned out, which I thought I could easily assemble this week.
Until the neccessary base pieces sold on ebay [opening bid, $5] for $89.50. shipping not included.
So, now I have just over a week to get a creative costume together. If I have to half ass the costume, I'm going to skip the party, since there's no fun in that.
I'm open to any and all costume suggestions.
some pieces readily available to me:
-Margot Tenenbaum costume [from last year. needs a new wig]
-Susie from Wet Hot American Summer costume [would rather not, but pieces could be used as something else]
-Abby Burnstein from Wet Hot American Summer costume [also, wold rather not]
-Sailor Moon Costume [may or may not fit, haven't worn it in about 4 years]
- Gold renaissance/medievel style dress
- White "princess" dress [modelled after Dres Barrymore's EverAfter character]
- Green Velvet cape
-Red velvet cape [some kind of red-riding hood hybrid? is that retaaaded?]
Also, I have been given permission to wear my costume from the play, if I choose. I'ts not particularly flattering, though. Also, added worry of possibilty of wrecking thousand dollar costume with beer or puke [my own or guests'].
S.O.S. seriously.
