iandavid, my thoughts on STICK IT:

Okay, this movie, about the hyper-competitive world of girl's gymnastics, opened yesterday and as promised, I was first in line, along with my equally nerdy friend Franscesca, for the 10:00 showing.
There's a bad girl, Hayley Graham, who gets in trouble with the law and given the ultimatum of going to military school, or, through a special deal with her affluent father, to the VGA gymnastics academy. The judge opts for VGA.
The film? It's 2 hours of girls in leotards, flipping around for your entertainment. I loved it.
Dudes: if you get stuck taking your girlfriend to the film, or maybe you want to get into some chick's pants so you let her pick the movie, there are no actual boobie shots, but there are like a MILLION tight butt shots, and lots of 6-pack abs shot. Oh, and lots of talk about bra straps. Sit tight, you'll be able to get through it.
But what, may you ask, is the BEST part about "Stick It"?

Pictured here on some Fox show, playing the part of Poot, one of bad-girl gymnast Hayley Graham's Sk8tr Boi friends. Every line he has to deliver [including the famous "Call me!" "Stalk you." punchline] is put out there with the highest percentage of witty-banter snark possible, which makes my ladyparts want to sing high on hill about raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens.
Seriously, I have a ladycrush on this boy, and I DO impress the word boy, because this one? he was born in 1987. But that's okay. As soon as he's legal we're going to get married and live in a Barbie dream house somewhere. match made in heaven.
