there should be no burning. Especially when you take them out...what brand are you using. truth is, different brands work for different people. I tried a few different ones, and settled on Accuvue's. I wear them pretty much nonstop with no problems. I've gone a week without taking them out with no problem whatsoevr. This is obviously not recommended, but good to know it's something i dont have to worry about when I find myself away from civilization.
Also, no matter what anyone says, there's no difference between 1 day disposables and extended wear contacts. They're all the same.
