Dear women of my office,
I understand that school must have recently been closed for the summer, since a barrage of your nose-picking little ones have been whisked through here in their light up sneakers and Hello Kitty backpacks all week.
As lovely as little Owen and Madison ARE, the fact that my desk is in the front lobby does not make me some kind of built in babysitting service. So do NOT dump them out here with me. If you're having that much trouble dealing with your kid, maybe, just maybe, you should have sprung for a FUCKING BABY SITTER.
"But little Lola wanted to see where Mommy worked!" you counter, and here is what I say to you:
I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. I CAN'T GET ANY WORK DONE. I'm all for the whole "Working moms!" plan, but I don't want to be a first had witness to it. Keep your offspring away from the office, or at the very least, AWAY FROM MY DESK.
Best,
Christina

do you know if wet hot american summer was filmed at the same camp/ location as the 80s horror flick "sleepaway camp"? cos i finally saw wet hot american summer last night on dvd from my netflix and it's looks like the same camp.

Dear woman not of my office,
Wet Hot was filmed at a camp called Camp Towanda in Western Pennsylvania, where I was actually a counselor for a minute. Usually, I was at Chen-A-Wanda, but they needed somebody to fill in. I've never seen "Sleepaway Camp", so that is something I cannot be sure of. something i AM sure of, is all sleepaway camps in western Pennsylvania [and there are many], look EXACTLY the same.
We thank you for your interest,
Christina NotOfYourOffice.

I applaud you. When I used to work in Jersey, there were CONSTANTLY little small children around. I mean, I guess they are cute or whatever, but so...grabby! And...needy! And...whiny! If I cannot bring my dog to the office, then other people should not be allowed to bring their kids. Ever.

Here here! At least Rufus listens to basic commands like "Sit", "Stay", and "Shut the hell up". Forget kids. a million questions. whining. Sticking their grubby hands in my candy bowl. and you can't even hit them, because you might scar them or whatever. I mean, JESUS. Why even bother?
