so, I was from the school of thought that maybe, just maybe cohabitating with the RNC wouldn't be so bad.

Right. That idea lasted about 5 minutes. I put myself on a Greyhound and now I'm upstate with my aunt and uncle.

Seriously, I had an audition over on 30th street, normally a 5 minute walk from the 34th street station.

Today, I had to take a freaking detour of 12 blocks, 3 avenues, and 40 protesters who took the time to personally tell me to "FUCK BUSH!".

The last 3 of them, a small group from what looked like Maryland or something, almost got a personal welcome to New York City. From my fist.

See, I dislike Republicans, but I dislike overzealous protesters even more.
I'm all for having the open forum to state your feelings, but screaming in my face when I'm late for an audition is just gonna get your ass beat.

but anyway, yeah, I'm upstate, far away from all of that, with a giant Mallamute resting her head on my knee. it's all good. Expect updates, etc. to follow.
